“Pan Ipswich Challenge”, a 20 mile hike across Ipswich, from Hood Pond to Crane’s Beach, with donations to benefit my favorite trail organization, Essex County Trail Association. Hope you’ll either come walk part or all of the route, or perhaps make a contribution in my name as I attempt to do so. Check out the website here: there’s a 10 mile option starting at 11:30 that may be a better alternative for those of us with “issues”.

The Newburyport Choral Society and orchestra will present Johannes Brahms’ German Requiem. The organization carries on the tradition begun in 1934 of bringing some of the best known and loved choral music to the Newburyport community. The German Requiem is thought by many to be the ultimate example of the best in choral works.
